There are some sources that indicate to Jacquemart involvement with Cordier in
completing the horse model of the statue of Ibrahim Pasha for his craftsmanship in
animal sculpture; only Cordier sculpted the figure of Ibrahim Pasha and the design of
the two relief sculptural panels made to be fixed on the stone pedestal of the statue.
However, most of the reliable sources stated that Cordier solely and fully executed
the statue of Ibrahim Pasha(7). The same is confirmed by the official site of the Orsay
Museum(8).

members of Muhammad Ali dynasty, whose lives are worthy of reflection, at the
human level, for the situations and incidents revealed moral values and personal
traits which are entirely different from those spread and vaguely entrenched in public
awareness.
In the popular fiction, Muhammad Ali dynasty was associated with a large number
of satirical exaggerations that widely disseminated, even leaked to some inaccurate
historical studies and many writings about that age by unspecialized writers, as well
as innumerable dramas and movies.

Among these exaggerations was the mental image of this family as Arabic speakers
