A visual paradox

In this exhibition, Farouk Hosny is returning to the “Collage”
technique, which is an artistic approach he practised in the eighties of
the previous century, which consists of adding a photography element
that seems as a puzzling block in the painting. This visual block is
used by the artist as a visual stimulus, whether an area or a mass, but it
creates a strange paradox in the heart of the abstract space, especially
when it represents fragmented from a specific realistic form, as it
creates an imbalance in its abstract system by adding a photographic
element. The mix between abstract color bodies and photographic
collage created a paradoxical paradigm that provided the artwork with
a new expressive dynamism and achieved a kind of mental attention
due to the cultivation of a strange element from the abstract plastic
environment, which allow the recipient to explore the beauty of the
contradiction between pure abstraction and photography. The synergy
between the colors and shape and the collage introduces the recipient
