our view, the most remarkable work is the brilliant installation with which artist Ahmed
Ragab Sakr participated, as in terms of theme and composition, as well as the ingenuity
of layout and the eloquence of expression, it reflects a general human issue burdening
the shoulders, hearts, and minds of peoples and destinies of humans. Moreover, it refers
to a recent human tragedy that shook the conscience of the world, the tragedy of the Gulf
War, which was one of the Nazi impulses for the expansionist control by force of arms.
The young artist skilfully employed "cones" of the threads left from textile factories in a
wonderful composition showing the red-black Nazi swastika placed on the earth as if it
is octopus's sphere of influence desiring to extend and expand endlessly in every direc-
tion. He made the cardboard cylinders a huge cluster of bombs hung as if falling from the
heavens to kill and destroy.

This brilliant work received only the third prize. What a wonder!

In the grand Nile Hall and in the 3rd Youth Salon where the absurd trends are supported,
we find hard-working youth who are determined to reach their goal, among these youth
was Ahmed Ragab Sakr who exhibited great considerable artwork.
