The image and its reality ... Is it ourselves image or how others see us within the frame of
reference, cultural and societal contexts.
Our real image will always seem incomplete in reference to the stereotyping image that
shapes others’ perceptions.
The work embodies the conflict between self-identity and stereotyping by presenting dif-
ferent and sequential possibilities of incomplete figure that represent projections of incom-
pleteness onto our image rather than the reality of the image itself.
