Assuming communication takes place between things and beings and is based on a con-
necting and living system. Sharpening our attention we look for hidden networks, trying
to make secret links and their connecting process visible. We enter the matrix of a cling-
ing mop through care, attention and observation. In hopes of a lively discussion with the
speechless single rubber glove, we would like to emphasize on the magic of the leftover
things we work with and the places we find them in.
A proper portion of intuition plays a big role in linking all items of our research situation and
the influences they are exposed to. Our system is intended to create an interaction between
all parties involved, relating to Berman’s “participatory consciousness” according to which
the observer is not separate from the thing being observed. An interactive situation, ideally
participation responds its own aesthetic resonating as beauty.
