The Third Treasures of Our Art Museums: Features of an Era, continues our
ambitious art project to revive our museum treasures and bring to minds the value
of these artworks on the international level in the light of the closure of our foremost
art museums for so long time, exceeding in some cases a quarter of a century, that a
whole generation could not see the extraordinary masterpieces of the invaluable art
collections.

This exhibition displays about one hundred and fifty works of art from the Gezira
Museum’s acquisitions that belonged to the palaces of Muhammad Ali dynasty and
were assumed to the Egyptian people after the July 23rd, 1952 Revolution. This unique
assemblage of artworks created by the world’s most renowned artists at that time
witnesses the greatness and leadership of Egypt and its high prestige.

It is an unmissable opportunity to see these exhibits rarely brought together in one
place, recalling the memory of a homeland in a visual show that is an extremely
special event for the specialists of historians, researchers, and plastic artists, as well
as the art lovers. With this approach and this aware vision, the Center of Arts proceeds
to achieve the objectives of its message.

All the best to those responsible for this great edifice.
