Since the reopening of Aisha Fahmy Palace, Center of Arts, It became the haven
that the artworks remained for long time in our museums seek to. Since the opening,
attempts have begun to explore the art treasures that were lifeless for years, waiting
for the moment to return to life that they look forward to it in front of their art lovers.

After the first and the second «Treasures of Our Art Museums» shows which
presented masterpieces of Egyptian and world art followed by the masterpieces of
Coptic and Islamic textiles, searches continued and resulted in the third Treasures of
Our Art Museums, entitled «Features of an Era».

Aisha Fahmy Palace hosts artworks of Muhammad Ali’s dynasty and a number of
historical figures who represented an important period in this nation’s history. One
of those figures might have walked and wandered in this palace in a time ago; today
it receives artworks embodied them and left us their features, artworks emerged to
be viewed and to see us. These artworks may tell their stories and secrets, standing
gloriously to recognize the features of an era lived by our grandfathers and our
ancestors.
