of this technical work of the great artist
Ahmed Ragab Sakr who succeeded in fix-
ing sand surfaces on the backgrounds of
his solid paintings without losing any of the
sand charm, brightness and nature that it
is in life. As if the sand was emerged and
formed itself through these rich surfaces of
formation, adding to the rigid life its magi-
cal live dimension; this was through that
only element that the artist succeeded in
turning it into visual compositions, worlds,
and subjects that are quite amazing.

The artist commenced to read the types
of sand, searching in its color tones, form,
textures and how responsive to the forma-
tive act and then the technical diversity
that we see clearly during the visual ep-
ics which the artist worked in great pa-
tience to weave and deal with what is in
his possession of the sand. It serves as
color paste that can be scattered through
the paintings or intensify its presence
and thickness in some of certain spac-
es. Leadingly and skilfully, he technically
practiced forming sand; this brought him
beyond the completion of his work. He
