Of 1905 commemorative medals, we view a commemorative medal marking the
laying of the foundation stone of Boulaq Museum and Egyptian Antiquities Service.
One side bears the bust of the famous French Egyptologist Mariette Pasha. The other
side depicts Mariette discovering the burial places of the sacred bulls «Serapeum» in
Saqqara.

Then, more recent medals are to be viewed like a commemorative medal of Il
Libro Italiano D’oggi (The Contemporary Italian Book) exhibition held in Cairo and
Alexandria in 1950.
