A commemorative medal documenting Napoléon Bonaparte's arrival to Cairo on July 25th, 1798, One
side bears the bust of Napoléon Bonaparte. The other side depicts the scene of his stand before
the pyramids surmounted by the inscription of his famous quote: «SOLDATS! DU HAUT DE CES

PYRAMIDES, 40 SIÈCLES NOUS CONTEMPLENT» (Soldiers, from the heights of these pyramids, forty
