- Ahmed Mohiey Hamza, young artist debuts in the Egyptian graphic art, proved his talent from the very beginning in the Tenth Youth Salon where he, with the majority of Jury Committee, strongly granted the top prize for graphic.
- Since then, Ahmed Hamza is a profound stream of art creation in field of graphic and drawing that glow in many exhibitions, specially his last solo exhibition. Then, the National Art Exhibition, whereas we noticed his tableau that depicted in an endless line rotating around central point that generated from emotional waves and unconsciously transported through the human tissues of artist’s nerves and muscles to finally create a unique piece of art attracting the viewers to meditate in the modern evaluations and imaginations of the artist. Which predict birth of a talented artist whose technical mediums already completed to put him on more reachable horizons throughout the Seventh Egyptian Millennium to assert the knowledge of the Egyptian Man since centuries.

- By meditating Mohiey’s art, we can say that Mohiey has the ability to transport from materialistic dimension to another metaphysical one remarked with haste performance and good knowledge of different art techniques. Sometimes, that performance comes in the most impromptu way in one hand and in the most patience and professional way in the other, through close stripes that often, even in surface or in deep, come as fast, close, glaring, strict, soft and in-relief stripes in one tableau. Lately, this harmony, contradicted performance asserts through black and white on zinc surface.
- Moreover, Mohiey is totally overwhelmed with animation art (cartoon), specially in his still characters using the inner motion that may be found in light and shadow, may be just for movement and hate of stillness.
- In brief, Mohiey is on the list of abstract expressionist artists, because of his transformation of the metaphysical world to a materialistic one that we can see and criticize it. |
