Futile Sheiks and Figures of Sheiks

The mufti does not have the right to make a decision with no religious text, wrongly delud-
ing people that he is backed by text. If he does so, then he is diligent without knowledge.
Anyone of us also has the right to strive, because diligence is not confined to the mufti,
but to everyone who is intellectual, eloquent and knowledgeable: an old man, a philoso-
pher, a thinker or even someone with another religion.
“Science has revealed to us that there is a soul in the stone, in the wind, in the water, in
the air, in the mountain, in the trees, and in the atoms of the earth; the soul is not limited
to only the man, animal and bird.”
