Press Precedence and Bullying of Art and Artists

“The artist, in his twenties, went to find news for his exhibition, and in his thirties, he did
the same thing; in his forties, fifties and sixties he stopped chasing the specialized and
non-specialized doors in newspapers. In the seventies, a person thinks he is too old, and
the respect for his experience is a duty. In turn, he has to chase down the press doors
with generations he no longer knows, nor do they; there is a tragic lack of knowledge of
duty and history."
“Criticism of art is an experience, a culture, a knowledge and an empowerment that only
professionals can do it; in theft of history, not those who have become peer to preachers
such as Louis Awad, Zakaria Ibrahim, Yunnan, Fouad Kamel, Jabakhanji, and Badr al-Din
Abu-Ghazi. I say that and I submit to Allah's power.”
