Remarkable Egyptian Character
Emad Selected article:
Abdel-Wahab in Vatican Restorations

- Emad Abdel-Wahab, young artist whose artworks remarkably stands at the Egyptian Art Competition, the Youth Salon, the Salon of Mini Works of Arts, where I, as a jurist, witnessed him gathering many prizes and predicted him a very distinguished position on art movement. He‘s an expert artist whose ambitious never halt as an active student of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Alexandria where he graduated in 1998, nominated to the State Prize for Art Creation by the Egyptian Art Academy in Rome, then selected to be among the team of Vatican restorations.

- He joined the International Restorations Institute, to study painting restorations on canvas, wood and paper. Then he got the first chance when he restored the ancient (Monk Portrait), 1765, Naples, oil colors 65cm.x95cm. (I did its restorations on the up to date techniques of Italy, then joined Rome Restorations School under Dr. Paola Massimo and lunched my work in November to end it in last January 25. Before I finalize the portrait, I nominated by Dr. Paola to join the teamwork that would do restorations of the ceiling of Vatican Renaissance Museum “Galleria Carte Geografiche”), Emad Said.

- ‘Frescha’, is drawing on walls using infiltrate colors on wet ground, this way is very suitable for the cold moisture weathers. Italy is the top country in this field as ‘Frescha’ represented in most artworks of artists of the Golden Renaissance Age such as Davencie, Michael Anglo, and Titcianeo, which possessed at the Vatican Museum.
