- graduated from the faculty of Applied Arts in 1935.

- he gradually held posts at the Ministry of Education; a teacher in primary and secondary schools then a supervisor for art education and ceramics.
- supervised the Art activities of the foriegn students club- and founded a section for ceramics and held many students exhibitions.
- He turned to work at the Ministry of Culture where he Headed the Outside Exhibitons Department.
- was assigned a technical supervisor for the Yemeni Ministry of Culture.
- Headed the Fine Arts Administration in Yemen Republic- in Eddan.
