| Exhibition for the late artist Kawkab El Assal |

| Artist Mohsen Shaalan, Head of the Fine Arts Sector, inaugurated a memoriam exhibition for the late artist Kawkab El Assal on Thursday December 24, 2090 at 7 pm at Abaad Gallery in the Museum of Modern Art.
The exhibition includes a group of her works done by water colors in which she was influenced by English artist Turner beside other groups of artworks of oil painting focus on nature in which she was inspired by Netherlander artist Rembrandt.
Artist Kawkab El Assal is considered one of the artistic leaders in the Egyptian artistic movement. She has participated in several local and international exhibitions. Also she has been awarded numerous prizes. The event runs until January 14, 2010.
